The surprise event created by Publicis Italy / Le Pub and produced by LaTarma Entertainment took place yesterday in Milan for the launch of “La Regina Carlotta”, the new Netflix series, a prequel spin-off of the successful series ” Bridgerton”, written by Shonda Rhimes and based on the novels by Julia Quinn, which brings to life on the big screen the story of beloved characters such as Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury and Lady Violet.
On the facade of a historic building in Via Dante, 19 – just a stone’s throw from the Sforzesco Castle; the event came with a special surprise, a vertical performance by Elodie, accompanied by her backing vocals and the Alter Echo string quartet.
Hundreds of people gathered near the building to watch Elodie’s performance, who, immersed in the nineteenth-century atmosphere inspired by the series, presented to the public her personal reinterpretation of “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys, together with an unreleased version for strings, composed specifically for the event, of his hits “Due” (a song presented at the Sanremo Festival) and “Ok. Respira”.
The balcony was embellished with a set design totally immersed in the historical settings of the TV series, with flowers, diamonds and lights that also recalled symbolic objects of some characters, such as the tiara worn by the protagonist, Queen Charlotte.
